Wyndham Championship R3 Highlights & R4 Preview

Wyndham Championship R3 Highlights & Round 4 Preview

Today is set to be a busy day at this year’s Wyndham Championship with a whole host of players still to complete their third round due to the tournament being delayed by a lightning storm. With the leaders still needing to complete several holes of their third round, everything is set for an exciting finish. We recap the Wyndham Championship R3 Highlights.

Wyndham Championship R3 Highlights

Leading the way are South Korea’s Sung Jae and overnight leader Brandon Wu.
When at his best Im can be a birdie machine and he showed off his ball striking skills to fine effect with four birdies through his first eleven holes before his charge was stopped by the weather. Im is a two-time winner on the PGA Tour, and he is looking for his third win here.
Hot on Im’s tail is American Brandon Wu. Wu is playing his debut season on the PGA Tour following winning the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in 2020. At just 25, huge things are expected of the young American and he can assert those credentials with a win at this year’s Wyndham.
Chasing the two leaders are the duo of John Huh and Kim Joo-Hyung.
It has been ten years since Huh last won on the PGA Tour and he will be desperate to enter the winners’ circle once again.

Wyndham Championship Round 4 Betting Preview

Kim Joo-Hyung enters this week in great form following two top ten finishes in his last four tournaments. This includes a third-place finish at the Genesis Open which included a field containing nine of the top ten players in the world. He managed to handle the pressure that day and we wouldn’t bet against him doing so again.

Behind these four players, there are some big names who will still believe they can play a part in proceedings.

Russel Henley is -2 for his third round and he will be hoping he can finish with a flourish to claw back the two-stroke deficit he currently faces.

Another who is bang in contention is Thai player Kiradech Aphibarnrat. The big Thai player will have the benefit of rest as he has completed his round and shot a stunning -7 round. He will be hoping the extra golf his rivals will have to play could stand him in good stead.

Will Zalatoris has had a dramatic week, which has culminated in the American splitting with his long-time caddy. He seems to have put the drama behind him and he is currently five off the lead. Looking for his first win on Tour he is another who has been able to finish his round.
