2022 World Wide Technology Highlights

It was an exciting weekend of golf events around the world. Let us dive into what happened in the World Wide Technology. Also, we are going to take a look at the schedule for the upcoming competition of the Houston Open. Here are our 2022 World Wide Technology Highlights.

2022 World Wide Technology Highlights

Russell Henley successfully captured his fourth career victory at the 2022 World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba in Mexico.

Henley’s triumph at El Camaleon Golf Course broke a five-year drought from the winner’s circle and marked his first title since the 2017 Houston Open.

Finishing the week at 23 under, Henley not only shattered his winless streak but also plenty of scoring records along the way.

Both the 36-hole and 54-hole records fell at Mayakoba earlier in the week, and ultimately gave way for Henley to possess the tournament scoring record as well — matching Viktor Hovland’s 23-under total in 2021.

Henley is now 33rd in the World Rankings.

Coming Up this week in the PGA Tour

This week, the PGA tour is back in the US and heads to Houston. Scottie Scheffler just finished tied for third at Mayakoba and was 2nd a year ago and sits at 6/1 favorite to win the 2022 Houston Open according to our partners at Jazzsports

Sam Burns who sits at number 12 in the world is 10/1 and former Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama is 18/1.  2017 champion and last weeks winner Russell Henley is at 20/1.

Our Free Golf Betting pick this week is Denny McCarthy at 30/1. McCarthy was 11th last year and has been in good form this season
