Lee Hodges shot a final round 67 for a wire-to-wire victory in the 3M open at Twin Cities TPC. Hodges was making his 65th PGA start and began the day with a 5-stroke lead that was never seriously challenged as he finished 7 shots up on Martin Laird, Kevin Streelman and J T Poston. Dylan Wu and Keith Mitchell finished another shot back in a tie for 5th. With the victory, Hodges moved to 54th in the World Rankings and 33rd in the Fed Ex Cup standings.
This week’s PGA event is the Wyndham Championship formerly known as The Greater Greensboro Open. The Wyndham is the last chance for players to pick up Fed Ex points before the playoffs start with The St. Jude next week where only the top 75 will start. Defending champion Tom Kim is passing the event and the favorite is Sungjae Im at 15/1. Hideki Matsuyama is next at 16/1 with Russell Henley at 18/1. Justin Thomas needs a top finish to make the Fed Ex Cup events is at 25/1 along with 2019 winner J T Poston. Webb Simpson won in 2011 and has two runner-up finishes sits at 50/1.

The LIV tour is back in action and will play event number 10 at The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia. Cameron Smith is favored at 15/2 with Brooks Koepka next at 11/1. Bryson DeChambeau is 12/1 while Patrick Reed and Dustin Johnson are at 14/1
