Between 2011 and 2016, Chris Kirk was one of the top golfers in the world winning four events and rising to number 16 in the rankings. Personal issues then derailed his career and he eventually took a leave of absence in 2019 to deal with alcohol and depression issues.

LIV Golf Mayakoba Highlights
On the LIV Golf, 43-year-old Charles Howell fired a bogey-free 8 under 63 to finish 4 shots ahead of Peter U-lin with Branden Grace finishing third. In the team event, Bryson DeCham-beau‘s Crusher finished first 9 shots ahead of the 4 Aces.
What’s next on the PGA Tour?
The PGA tour will head to Bay Hill for the Arnold Palmer Invitational and 44 of the top 50 will be teeing it up looking for a share of the 20 million dollar purse. The red hot Jon Rahm is favored at 7/1 with 2018 winner Rory McIlroy next at 9/1. Defending champion Scottie Scheffler is at 10/1.
Max Homa who has won two events this season is 18/1 along with Collin Morikawa. Eight-time champion Tiger Woods will not be in the field this week. Our pick this week is US Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick at 28/1.
The PGA will also be playing in Puerto Rico where the purse may not be as high as the Arnold Palmer but the benefits are the same. Tour veteran Nate Lashley is the favorite at 12/1 followed by Ben Martin at 14/1. Korn Ferry tour player Brandon Harkins is at 15/1.
