Let us dive into the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic Highlights. Also, let’s look at the golf betting picks for the John Deere Classic and LIV Golf London.
As the ball dropped into the cup on the first playoff hole, Rickie Fowler ended a nearly 4 and a half year drought without a victory. The win was Fowler’s 6th of his PGA career and completed a journey that saw the man in Orange fall out of the top 150 in the world. This was his eighth top-10 finish in 20 starts and has moved him to number 23 in the world.
Collin Morikawa was the leader in the clubhouse and saw Adam Hadwin birdie 17 and Fowler birdie 18 to send the trio to a playoff where Fowler made birdie to win.
The PGA tour heads to Illinois for the John Deere Classic. This is the last chance for PGA pros to qualify for the British Open in two weeks. 2022 champion JT Poston is looking to defend his title and win his third career event and sits at 30/1.
With most of the big names taking this week off before heading across the pond for the Scottish and British Opens many lesser-knowns will get their chance. A group of four made up of Cameron Young, Denny McCarthy, Russell Henley, and Ludvig Aberg are all at 12/1. Last week’s runner up Adam Hadwin sits at 18/1. Our pick this week is Adam Schenk at 22/1 after a solid performance in Detroit.

Talor Gooch made a 15-foot birdie putt on his final hole to win his third LIV title of the year. Gooch’s birdie at Real Club Valderrama gave him a one-shot victory over Bryson DeChambeau. Torque GC captained by Joaquin Niemann won their third team title.
This week the LIV Golf tour heads to the United Kingdom for the 8th event of the season. The tour will return to Centurion Club where the LIV tour played their first ever event last year. Charles Schwartzel was the winner last year and sits at 75/1 this week.
Brooks Koepka is favored at 8/1 followed by a trio at 10/1 that includes Cameron Smith, Dustin Johnson, and Bryson DeChambeau. Talor Gooch is finally getting some respect and sits at 12/1.
Our pick this week is Brendan Steel at 40/1. He is one of the best drivers on the LIV tour and was fifth last week in Greens in Regulation.
