2023 Wyndham Championship Highlights

Lucas Glover shot a 62 on Saturday and then captured his fifth PGA victory with a 68 on Sunday to finish 20 under par and capture the Wyndham Championship. The win means the 2009 US Open winner is comfortably in the field for the Fed Ex Cup playoffs. The win was Glover’s first since the 2021 John Deere and moved him to fifty-third in the World Rankings. Russell Henley and Ben Yuan finished tied for second two shots back.

The top 70 players in the Fed Ex Cup standings will tee off in the St. Jude Invitational played on the TPC Southwind course in Memphis, Tennessee. Hayden Buckley is the only player who may miss the event due to injury. Scottie Scheffler sits on top of the odds board at 13/2 with Rory Mcllroy at 8/1 and Jon Rahm is 9/1. Patrick Cantlay is the fourth choice sitting at 16/1 and Xander Schauffele rounds out the top five at 18/1

LIV Golf Greenbrier Highlights

Bryson DeChambeau shot a final round 58 to win the Greenbrier LIV tournament. His 58 was only the fourth time in history on a major tour. He came into Sunday one shot down and finished the day 6 shots ahead of Mito Pereira. Richard Bland finished 3rd along with David Puig and Matthew Wolff. Torque GC won the team event.

Coming up this week

The LIV tour heads to Trump National Golf Club Bedminster for the next event. In last year’s tournament, Hendrik Stenson got the win over Dustin Johnson and Matthew Wolff. The week’s favorite is Bryson DeChambeau fresh off a 58 at 9/1. Cameron Smith is next at 10/1 with Dustin Johnson at 12/1. Brooks Koepka and Mito Pereira round out the top 5 at 14/1.
