It was an exciting weekend of golf events around the world. Let us dive into the Australian PGA Tour Highlights. Also, we are going to take a look at the odds of the Australian Open and the Hero World Challenge.

Australian PGA Tour Highlights

World Number 3 Cameron Smith captured the Australian PGA for the third time with a 14 under-par three-shot victory. He previously won this event in 2017 and 2018. This was the fourth win for Smith on the DP world tour.  Fellow Aussie Jason Scrivner finished tied for 2nd with 20-year-old Japanese player Ryo Hisatsune. 

Coming up this week is the Australian Open

This week in Australia the players will head to the Australian Open where men and women will play alongside each other over three courses. Cameron Smith is the prohibitive favorite at 5/2 with former world number one and 2009 winner Adam Scott next at 10/1. Min Woo Lee is also at 10/1

Hero World Challenge will take place in the Bahamas this week

The 2022 golf season is officially over and now we have the limited field events starting with the Hero World Challenge taking place in the Bahamas and benefits Tiger Woods TGR foundation. 

Unfortunately, on Monday morning Tiger was forced to drop out of the tournament with pain in his right foot. Woods was replaced by Sepp Straka.
