This week was the coronation of Scottie Scheffler as the best golfer in the world.
He managed to reach number one forty-two days after winning his first tournament and with his three-shot victory in the Masters, Scheffler has now won four tournaments in fifty-two days.
Scheffler was the only player in the tournament to break par all four days in going ten under par.
Rory McIlroy tied the Masters final round record with a 64 in route to a seven-under-par, second-place finish.
Tiger Woods made the cut but then carded a pair of Seventy-eights to finish tied for forty-seventh place.
The LPGA and the European tour both had the week off.
Coming up this week will be the RBC Heritage taking place at Harbour Town Golf links in South Carolina.
Justin Thomas is the favorite at 12/1 with world number three Collin Morikawa at 14/1 along with Cameron Smith. Dustin Johnson, Patrick Cantlay, and Matthew Fitzpatrick are all at 18/1.
The LPGA tour will be on the island of Oahu for the Lotte Championship where Lydia Ko is the defending champion.
